De Wallen
De Wallen is a well-known tourist destination and Red Light District. Legalized prostitution, sex stores, marijuana-selling coffee shops, and a variety of other “family-friendly” activities can all be found there. Now that we’ve gotten the snark out of the way, we’ll state that the area is a little run-down, boisterous, and not at all conducive to a relaxing holiday. If you truly want to travel somewhere intriguing, there’s a lot more to see and do in Amsterdam. You can visit the Van Gogh Museum, the Ann Frank House, and other interesting art museums, for example. Take a stroll via Dam Square or Vondelpark. There’s so much more to do in Amsterdam that you’ll be able to tell your friends and family about it when you return.
Ko Phi Phi
Another site that looks amazing in images is Ko Phi Phi. It has beautiful plant life, crystal-clear blue seas, and limestone cliffs. However, since Leonardo DiCaprio’s film The Beach made Ko Phi Phi popular, the location has become a tourist destination that should be avoided at all costs. The area, which was once tranquil and serene, has become commercialised, with hotels, boathouses, and everything else you’d want to avoid if you wanted to get away from it all. Because of the debris and motor oil, even the water has become a contaminated mess. The neighbourhood is further deteriorating as a result of the high volume of visitors. Instead, travel to other parts of Thailand, such as Koh Kradan.
Bran Castle
Bran Castle in Romania is frequently cited as the basis for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, although there are a few flaws in this notion. Bran Castle simply meets the characteristics of a typical Transylvanian castle, not necessarily Dracula’s. Another issue is that Stoker never visited Romania, so even if he did, he wouldn’t recognize the castle. There isn’t a single link between this castle and the Dracula novel. That’s something made up by people. They are now enjoying their own creation as the castle is inundated with tourists. Sure, it’s a lovely castle with lovely landscape, but there are plenty more to visit.
