Peacock Christmas Ornaments
Peacocks, like animal print, have no place in Christmas decor. Peacocks are exotic birds with lovely feathers, and while we enjoy looking at them at other times of the year, we avoid looking at them during Christmas. Even if they aren’t Christmasy, individuals nonetheless decorate with a peacock theme. It’s fine if you enjoy birds. But why not try something a little more in tune with the season? A snowbird or cardinal would be lovely on your Christmas tree, but what about a peacock? Something doesn’t seem quite right. People who enjoy decorating in peacock themes have a tendency to go overboard, therefore it’s best to avoid peacocks altogether.
Poinsettias
Poinsettias became associated with Christmas tradition at some point. These flowers originated in South America, but their lovely crimson leaves were utilized to embellish magnificent nativity scenes in the South Western section of North America in the 1600s. These leaves have a secret, despite their gorgeous crimson colour. They’re almost as bothersome as poison ivy. Their sap can cause rashes and irritation to the skin. Don’t even consider bringing your pets near them! From now on, leave these itchy red leaves at the store; they don’t belong in your home.
Cotton Stem Decor
The cotton stem, another 2016 special, has been invading houses for nearly ten years. Time a couple of stems can be adorable, we get tired of seeing them in garlands, wreaths, the Christmas tree, and centrepieces after a while. There are a variety of additional techniques to achieve a natural look in your home. Cotton has become overused to the point of being tacky. This year, leave these out of your Christmas décor and try something new! Something you haven’t seen on HGTV a thousand times. It’s fine to be unique! Just take a vacation from the cotton stems this holiday season.
