9. Collin Morikawa & Katherine Zhu
Collin Morikawa has just risen to the top of the world golf rankings after making 22 consecutive PGA Tour cuts and winning five PGA Tour events, including the 2020 PGA Championship and the recent 2021 Open Championship. Despite the fact that he had never competed in either contest before, he was able to scrape by and win the top prize. The Open Championship is the world’s oldest and most famous golf tournament, and winning it on the first try is no easy task. In addition, he is the first guy to win both championships in his first season!

It’s no surprise that Morikawa’s girlfriend is ecstatic! In July, Katherine Zhu made headlines for her unwavering support for her four-year-old boyfriend on Instagram, stating, “I am ecstatically happy of you! Since turning pro in 2019, you’ve accomplished so much, and I’m excited to see what’s ahead.” Collin Morikawa’s training and sporting exploits are often updated on social media by Zhu, who played golf for Pepperdine University for four years. In a heartfelt comment beneath the image, Morikawa credited his accomplishment to Zhu, calling her “truly my good luck charm.”
10. Tiger Woods & Erica Herman
Tiger Woods doesn’t need an introduction; his name is enough. Woods hasn’t had much luck in his relationships despite being one of the finest golfers and most famous athletes in history. Woods found himself in the heart of an adultery scandal with many women after married Elin Nordegren in the 2000s. On top of his marriage, the allegations cost him up to $12 million in sponsorship arrangements. Woods apologised to his family and supporters on television in 2010: “I thought I could get away with anything… and that I deserved to indulge in all the temptations that surrounded me… I was mistaken. I made a mistake.”

But it wasn’t all doom and gloom for him. Erica Herman has been by his side since 2017, despite the cheating scandals and many serious vehicle accidents. She was a successful restaurant manager in her home state of Florida before meeting Woods. That year, they made their first public appearance as a couple at the President’s Cup, with Herman sporting a “player spouse” insignia around her neck. Even though they weren’t married at the time, she’s known for her unflinching support for her partner.
