21. Adam Scott & Marie Kojzar
Adam Scott, a 31-year-old Australian athlete, topped the international golf rankings in 2014 thanks to his strong professional accomplishments on the PGA Tour and in world championship matches. His most notable victory was the 2013 Masters Tournament, which marked his maiden major championship victory and made him the first Australian to do so. He has 35 notable victories to his credit, 14 of them have come on the PGA Tour.
Scott married on-again, off-again girlfriend Marie Kojzar in a covert garden ceremony at Scott’s Bahamas home one year after winning the Masters. Following her study at the Royal School of Art in London, Kojzar now works as a Swedish architect. Their daughter Bo Vera was born in 2015, and their son Byron Scott was born in 2017.
22. Hideki Matsuyama & Mei Matsuyama
Hideki Matsuyama, the first pro golfer from Japan to win a major title, the 2021 Masters, has paved the door for Japanese golf. But that’s not all he’s accomplished. In addition to innumerable appearances at national cups and tournaments, he has 15 international triumphs and six PGA Tour wins under his belt. In June 2017, he climbed to the second-highest position in the World Golf Rankings.
Hideki’s wife Mei follows him wherever he goes. He married Mei in secret in January 2017, announcing their marriage to reporters at a press conference in August 2017, one month after the birth of their first child Kanna. Hideki claims that he didn’t reveal their relationship status because “no one asked me if I was married, so I didn’t have to answer that question.” But I thought after the PGA would be a nice time to tell everyone because our baby was born, and I thought that would be a good moment.”
