Spieth confirmed his engagement to long-time girlfriend Annie Verret in January 2018. We know a little about Verret’s personal successes, despite the fact that the couple prefers to keep to themselves. She went on to concentrate in business at Texas Tech and currently works as an events coordinator for the First Tee of Greater Dallas after pleading for a romance with Spieth in high school. This organisation assists with the introduction of young children to the lovely sport of golf. They’re an excellent combination!

2. Phil Mickelson & Amy Mickelson

Phil Mickelson, as “Lefty,” hasn’t won the world title, but he’s been in the top 50 for 25 years, in the top 10 for 13 years, and #2 on many occasions. Mickelson has a history of coming in second place. Sure, he’s one of the few players to win three of the four major golf tournaments, be elected into the World Golf Hall of Fame, and become the oldest championship winner in history, but he can’t manage to win the US Open, where he’s finished second a record six times.

Phil met his wife Amy at Arizona State University in 1992, when they were both students. She was a cheerleader and he was a college golf star at the time, but she admits she had no idea how excellent he was. “When he informed me he was a pro golfer, I assumed he worked in a golf course shop,” Golf Monthly says. They’ve been married since 1993 and have two children together. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, Amy became significantly involved in fundraising for breast cancer research. In 2011, she was declared cancer-free.
